I was really hoping season 1 of “Beauty in Black” wouldn’t end when Kemmie hit Body. I wanted to see what would happen afterward. Will Body die? Will she survive? If you know what really happened, then read through to find out.
Did Kimmie Kill Body Beauty in Black?
In the final part of Beauty in Black, Body kidnaps Kimmie’s little sister in order to make Kimmie submissive, but Kimmie doesn’t take that lightly; she gets upset and rams body with her car; it is unclear if she died or not.
But let’s analyze the scene very well. We know that Kimmie isn’t the violent type; she’s soft and cool, so for her to hit Body with a car means she gets really upset and emotional at the same time. But after hitting Body with the car, she could get back to her senses and realize the damage she had done.
Will Body die from the hit? I doubt that. It was a close-range hit and didn’t seem like the car used much force when hitting her. She would be injured, that’s for sure, and even hospitalized, but she will survive.
What Were the Immediate Consequences of the Car Crash?
The consequences of a car crash depend on certain factors, one of which is the severity of the crash. Did it kill Body? If it killed Body, then that would be a problem for Kimmie. If there were witnesses there, she might have the police looking for her, and that would be a problem.
That will open up other crimes that will implicate her even more and implicate Jules, too. I strongly doubt if that will happen, though; if there are any witnesses, Jules could eliminate the person—he’s good at making things disappear.
Also, she might just have a problem with her boss, Jules. Body holds a big position in Jules’s club business, and even though they’ve been having some issues lately about Kimmie, I think he won’t be happy to know that she was murdered by Kimmie.
On the other hand, if it happens that Body didn’t die from the hit, Kemmie would still have some problems. She might be free from the police and Jules, but Body would not let that pass. She’ll come for Kimmie.
Body’s Survival: Where to Next?
If for some reason, Body survived the car crash, what would be her next move? Here are some possibilities:
1. Seeking medical attention discreetly
I think one of the things she would do is seek medical attention because she would be injured—maybe with a few broken bones and bruises—and she would need medical help.
It might not be medical help from a hospital; I don’t think she would want that. She might seek underground medical help to avoid detection.
2. Going into Hiding
Another possible thing she could do is to go low with someone she knows very well or in a secluded location.
This would give her time to recover and also plan for her next move.
3. Planning Her Retaliation
Body will definitely go after Kimmie if she recovers; she will seek revenge, and this will include targeting Kimmie’s loved ones.
Let’s not forget that she has Kimmie’s little sister; she might just do something drastic to get to Kimmie.
Body’s next move depends on her injuries and available resources, but all plans would probably center around surviving and seeking revenge.
In fact, the crash raised the stakes in their altercation that had been brewing and opened up a possible return battle.
Kimmie’s Intention When She Crashed into Body’s Car
Kimmie didn’t just decide to hit Body with a car for no reason; it was a mixture of feelings and emotions. Body had just kidnapped her little sister, and this would mean that she would end up doing the same thing Kimmie was doing.
Kimmie doesn’t want that kind of life for her sister, so her emotions and anger get the best of her. She gets into a car, drives, and hits Body.
Her intention wasn’t to kill Body. We know this because we’ve seen the kind of person Kimmie is; she is compassionate, and I honestly think she is not capable of killing anybody. She did what she did because she wanted to stop Body from kidnapping her sister and because she got all emotional and angry.
Does the Ending Hint at a Second Season and Body’s Return?
Yes, the way season one ended suggests that there will be a season 2 of the TV series Beauty in Black. The ambiguous fate of Body strongly suggests the potential for a second season. Here’s why:
The central conflict between Kimmie and Body is left unresolved. This means there’s a continuation that reveals what will happen between the two characters. In most TV series, cliffhangers are used in order to make the audience even more engaged in the show and also to create anticipation around it.
The fact that Body could still be alive leaves room for a lot of possibilities, like: Will she seek revenge? Will she go into hiding? How will her actions impact Kimmie and her family? These questions provide ample material for a second season.
